WHAT TO EXPECT
When working with us you can expect a nonjudgmental culturally sensitive environment. We work to foster a safe space where you can be honest about who you are and what may be troubling you. In the first session, background information will be gathered to assess your current struggles so that we can work collaboratively to set appropriate goals for your sessions. Therapy often includes a combination of emotional support as well as practical tools to help you work toward greater health and peace of mind. These tools may include learning stress reduction practices, increasing communication skills, or enhancing self-care skills to better manage daily activities (e.g. eating, sleeping, exercising).
